Blackpool Town Centre BID has been voted in for a further term following the renewal and alteration ballot.
The BID secured 87.8 percent in favour by number and 95 percent in favour by rateable value and will now continue until 31 March 2031.
The renewal follows extensive consultation and the publication of the 2026 to 2031 Business Plan, shaped directly by levy payer feedback. In the new term, more than £1.8 million will be invested across safety, cleanliness, business support, digital innovation and activity that promotes Blackpool town centre.
Since 2021, the BID has invested more than £1 million across safety patrols, environmental improvements, the GO Blackpool app, seasonal displays and new events including Blackpool Restaurant Week.
