The Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On takes place on Friday, August 29th, marking the start of the town’s iconic six-mile light display along the seafront. Pop superstar Olly Murs headlines the event, performing a free hour-long show at the Tower Festival Headland, joined by X Factor winner Louisa Johnson and a showcase of local talent from Blackpool Introduces.
This year’s 24,000 free tickets have already been allocated, but the event remains open to all through a live screening zone along the promenade.
